TriKala's education is built around the lessons an artist learns through years of doing the work—then simplifying those lessons so a beginner does not have to spend years discovering them alone.
“Let me help you avoid the mistakes I made.”
“Ma’am you are a wonderful teacher. Your way of teaching is excellent. I enjoyed every bit of the session.”
Workshop learner“I really enjoy the one-on-one classes because I get ma'am's full attention. She explains all the tricks and techniques very clearly.”
One-to-one learner“The session was extremely useful and very informative. I learned a lot from it.”
Student feedback
TriKala is not only the story of becoming an artist. It is also the story of making space for creativity alongside responsibilities—and then helping other women do the same.
Shalini began her art journey in 2017 and TriKala Art Studio took shape in 2020. Over time, fabric painting became her specialisation, teaching became an important part of the studio, and wearable art became a way to turn emotion, memory and personality into something that can be worn.
You do not have to wait for life to become less busy before you begin something for yourself.
Buying art, commissioning art and learning art are three different experiences—so the FAQs are separated too.

One-to-one learning is best when you want to focus only on a specific technique, medium or subject without repeating what you already know.
